Sahil Thakur

Before becoming a recruiter, Sahil worked as a data analyst, using SQL and Power BI to build dashboards and translate raw data into insights that stakeholders could act upon. Sahil’s field experience shapes how he approaches recruiting, not just matching resumes to the job description, but really thinking about the data behind the decision: what the role requires, what’s driving the client’s hiring priorities, and how to identify the right fit among a large pool of candidates.

Sahil joined Sud Recruiting in 2021, and has since focused on searches within data analytics, helping companies find analysts, dashboard builders, and data-driven problem solvers who can deliver real results. Having worked many of the roles he’s recruiting for gives Sahil the practical perspective: understanding what these roles demand day to day and being able to ask candidates the right questions to assess genuine fit.

Outside of work, Sahil coaches the Allentown Legion baseball team. He also spends his time on his own personal analytics project called Diamond Analytics, using the MLB Stats API and FanGraphs data to develop player projections which is a natural extension of the same analytical curiosity that drew him to data work in the first place.
