Background: Large Retailer within the niche Grocery space seeks a Director or Senior Manager of Strategic Enterprise Analytics. The Director / Senior Manager of Strategic Enterprise Analytics will lead a team of analysts and champion the use of statistics, econometrics, predictive analytics, and machine learning to optimize corporate strategy, customer and demand planning initiatives.
What Will You Do:
- lead a team of marketing, merchandising, and demand planning analysts that analyze customer transactions, digital activity and macroeconomic variables to provide data driven insights on analysis performed
- champion the use of statistics, predictive analytics and machine learning to optimize customer retention initiatives including: personalization and recommendation engines, attribution, segmentation, response modeling, CLTV, look-alike audience targeting
- perform analytics on demand planning initiatives that optimize supply chain, labor and inventory control
- maintain a pulse on macro-economic data and trends in order to determine long term business drivers and help develop innovation and strategy (i.e. navigating a post-COVID world, changes in supply chain, consumer behavior, etc)
- take abstract data to answer a broad range of business questions to inform short and long term strategy and tactical execution
- make executive presentations to senior leadership team

Responsibilities/Experience:
- must have 10+years of extensive hands-on analytics experience within customer and demand planning as well as analyzing economic variables
- proven experience mining data to optimize strategic decisions with the ability to take data and provide strategic recommendations on analysis performed
- solid predictive analytics, predictive modeling and machine learning experience using R or Python
- prior leadership experience is a MUST including making executive presentations to leadership
