Background: Large Retailer within the niche Grocery space seeks a Senior Manager of Customer Analytics. Senior Manager of Customer Analytics will lead a team of analysts and champion the use of Statistics, predictive analytics, and machine learning to optimize marketing, customer, and demand planning initiatives.
What Will You Do:
- lead a team of marketing, merchandising, and demand planning analysts that analyze customer transactions, digital activity, and 3rd party data and provide data driven insights on analysis performed
- champion the use of Statistics, predictive analytics, and machine learning to optimize acquisition, retention, churn initiatives including: personalization and recommendation engines, attribution, segmentation, response modeling, CLTV, look-alike audience targeting, demand planning
- provide marketing analytics support including: A/B testing, campaign analytics, predictive modeling, and development of dashboards
- perform analytics on demand planning initiatives that optimize supply chain and inventory control
- use Economic data to proactively determine drivers that will impede organizational growth and stunt sales
- take analytical findings and infuse them into short / long term marketing strategies
- make executive presentations to senior leadership team

Responsibilities/Experience:
- must have 10+years of extensive hands-on analytics experience within marketing, customer, demand planning analytics
- proven experience mining data to optimize strategic decisions with the ability to take data and provide strategic recommendations on analysis performed
- solid predictive analytics, predictive modeling, machine learning experience using R or Python
- strong with SQL and either R or Python for machine learning
- prior leadership experience is a MUST including making executive presentations to leadership
