Background: One of the nation’s largest Healthcare providers seeks an Azure Security Engineer to implement B2B security best practices on its proprietary cloud based Artificial Intelligence (AI) platform. Azure Security Engineer will secure its data, network, and enterprise cloud applications. Additionally, the Azure Security Engineer will provide identity and access management support.
What Will You Do:
- serve as a SME on cloud security by collaborating with internal Technology, Data Engineering, and Compliance teams to develop standards and implement best practices in securing its AI platform within the Azure cloud
- build and maintain security services in Azure with Microsoft Defender for Cloud and provide further security using cloud access security brokers (CASB)
- design and maintain identity and access management services with Azure AD including Single Sign On (SSO) and Multi Factor Authentication (MFA)
- proactively identify new security threats by continual monitoring, penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and log analysis
- actively lead the troubleshooting of cloud security issues, identify risks, detect and confirm anomalies, provide data loss prevention (DLP), and perform root cause analysis
- plan, coordinate, and execute infrastructure and security projects from inception to delivery
- stay current on emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and compliance controls

Responsibilities/Experience:
- 4+ years of managing B2B security
- proficiency with Microsoft Defender for Cloud aka ASC, Azure Defender, Azure ATP
- proficiency with Azure Active Directory including SSO / MFA
- have a thorough understanding of Azure security solutions including CASB
- thorough understanding of Azure security technologies, strategies, and implementations
