Background: Well capitalized Private Equity firm that specializes in Real Estate Private Equity & Underwriting seeks to hire an Underwriting Associate.
What Will You Do:
- Assist in all aspects of the deal structuring process, including preparing financial models, term sheets, loan document negotiation, due diligence and closing.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new borrowers, brokers, and other sources of loan origination and investment opportunities.
- Assist in the due diligence process, including presenting investment opportunities to Investment Committee for approval.
- Coordinate and review third party reports, including appraisals, environmental and property condition reports.

Required Experience:
- 1-2 years’ experience in banking or Real Estate preferred
- Must have real enthusiasm for Real Estate and Private Equity and knowledge of real estate & financial markets
- Strong quantitative, financial analysis and modeling skills within MS Excel is a MUST
