Background: One of the nation’s largest federal credit union’s seeks a Card Services Operations Manager to manage the credit card processing lifecycle and mitigate all regulatory and fraud risk.

What Will You Do:

  • Provide effective design and execution of department procedures and functions to ensure timely, accurate and complete processing of transactions to include both settlement and disputes.
  • Ensures all policies, procedures, and strategies are compliant with lending policy, regulatory requirements and guidelines (i.e. federal and state laws, CARD Act, Visa rules, Regulation E, Regulation Z, etc.)
  • Serves in a leadership role and escalation point for major operational issues. Responsible for root-cause problem resolution for key back-office operational problems and incidents.
  • Plans, directs, organizes and controls card operations and the related vendor management oversight.

Responsibilities/Experience:

  • 7+ years of supervisory experience in a financial services environment with a concentration in card services is a MUST
  • Deep knowledge of fraud and settlements in card services, including knowledge of Reg E and Reg Z is a MUST
  • Ability to adapt and resolve operational problems quickly is a MUST
