Background: FinTech credit lender that provides loans to small businesses seeks a Director of Marketing Analytics for their US division. Director will lead a small team of analysts and be responsible for delivering strategic data driven marketing strategies that produce incremental ROI on credit marketing initiatives.
What Will You Do:
- leverage customer, traditional bureau attributes, and alternative data sources to define targeting strategies that optimize ROI on prequalified credit initiatives (pre-screened / pre-approved)
- provide insights into the lending journey including full-funnel touchpoint tracking and attribution to determine which small businesses to fund
- cultivate a test and learn environment within small business lending by creating marketing experiments and measurement plans that optimize marketing spend / ROI (A/B and multivariate tests)
- collaborate with credit risk teams and identify marketing opportunities that provide risk / reward benefits
- provide strategic insights and recommendations on campaign performance for optimized targeting for future marketing campaigns (website, paid, programmatic, social, mobile, direct mail)
- oversee the development of dashboards that visualize critical marketing and credit risk KPI trends

Responsibilities/Experience:
- 10+ years of experience within analytics driving optimal marketing strategies
- 5+ years of experience within marketing analytics optimizing credit risk strategies preferably within the prequalified space
- marketing analytics leveraging credit data is a MUST (A/B testing, campaign analysis, segmentation, predictive modeling, reporting)
- familiarity with either SQL, SAS, R, or Python to pull and mine customer, marketing, and credit data is a PLUS
- people management experience is highly desired
