Background: Financial Services Company seeks a Principal Data Scientist to join and lead its Data Science practice reporting into their Chief Data Scientist. The Principal Data Scientist will develop and deploy state-of-the-art Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions including applying Natural Language Processing (NLP) to solve critical business questions and scenarios across its vast Enterprise.
What Will You Do:
- work with key strategic partners across the Enterprise, understand areas of opportunity, and build end-to-end NLP solutions that address critical business needs
- lead AI system development and implementation of NLP concept extraction, clustering, and classification for processing unstructured text documents
- utilize Conversational AI techniques that power Chatbot to understand customers intention for personalized responses
- apply NLP techniques to summarize customer sentiment and emerging themes that enable the Investment Management side of the Enterprise to make informed financial decisions on corporate investments
- build AI capabilities including leveraging NLP, machine learning, and deep learning on both structured and unstructured data to drive strategic business decisions
- proactively monitor the latest AI trends that can benefit the organization

Responsibilities/Experience:
- Masters / PhD in a quantitative and technical discipline
- Must have 4+ years of applied NLP experience using RoBERTa or BERT
- Proficiency with Python
- Deep knowledge of NLP concept extraction strategies / tools: RoBERTa, BERT
