Background: Leading Market Research organization seeks a Data Scientist to join its Marketing Sciences Group. Data Scientist will provide advanced analytical and strategic support to clients on their marketing research initiatives as it pertains to understanding: customer behavior, appropriate product mix, competitive landscape, and market opportunities.
What Will You Do:
- provide hands-on analytical support to properly conduct quantitative market research studies that provide insights into customer behavior and market opportunities i.e.: price sensitivities, impact on product changes, product bundling, new product development, competition, sales cannibalization)
- build segmentation schemes that enable strategic partners to better understand customer behavior and product preferences
- champion best practices on design of surveys / questionnaires to conduct effective choice modeling (conjoint analysis)
- leverage predictive modeling techniques including machine learning to: optimize demand planning & forecasting, build simulations on what-if scenarios, and perform text analytics / topic modeling
- constantly advocate and apply leading predictive analytical solutions within market research to solve client needs
- provide both hands-on analytical support and strategic insights to clients on analysis performed
- take analytical findings and infuse them into client short / long term marketing strategies

Responsibilities/Experience:
