Background: Marketing Agency seeks a Data Scientist to apply machine learning and predictive analytics to optimize client marketing initiatives. Additionally, the Data Scientist will provide strategic insights into analytics performed to optimize marketing strategies.
What Will You Do:
- collaborate with vendors on multi-touch attribution models that optimize marketing ROI across channel touchpoints
- provide insights into the customer journey including full-funnel touchpoint tracking and attribution
- optimize customer experience by building personalization and recommendation engines at the product, channel, content levels
- cultivate a test and learn environment by creating marketing experiments and measurement plans that optimize marketing ROI (A/B and multivariate tests)
- utilize machine learning and predictive modeling to build propensity models (i.e., lifetime value, response, look-alike audience targeting)
- provide strategic insights into acquisition, retention, and churn marketing initiatives across digital channels
- take analytical findings and infuse them into short / long term marketing strategies

Responsibilities/Experience:
- 3+ years of experience applying machine learning and predictive modeling techniques to optimize marketing initiatives
- Marketing analytics is a must (i.e.: campaign analysis, segmentation, modeling, test design, reporting, attribution, strategy)
- Strong with R or Python for advanced analytics
- Have decent data engineering skills to aggregate data on occasion
- Client facing, articulate, great communication
