Background: Innovative and rapidly growing company within the Fortune 300 space seeks an Engineer to join its Cyber Security team. Security Engineer will develop, implement, and maintain Enterprise-wide best practices of all Corporate infrastructure Security including areas of networks, applications, and endpoints devices.
What Will You Do:
- serve as the SME for all Security standards across the Organization & own the execution roadmap to drive Security compliance requirements into all Enterprise technology systems and projects
- develop, implement, and maintain company-wide Security best practices of all corporate Technology infrastructure including areas of networks, applications, and endpoints devices
- sit on strategic planning meetings, provide advanced technical knowledge during the design of Security automation, testing, and validation protocols
- responsible for the engineering, test, and implementation of secure and reliable network connectivity using Zscaler suite of products leveraging the current network environment to facilitate secure access to applications and services in AWS (Zscaler – ZPA, ZIA)
- prepares system Security reports by collecting and analyzing all data including threats and trends
- champion automation through Security testing and validation into automated tools and integrated CI/CD pipelines while following DevOps best practices
- document all updates to changes in network design / technologies, collaborate with stakeholders to test all related systems and application migration processes to verify systems meet requirements and can host applications with no degradation to performance or security

Responsibilities/Experience:
- 5+ years of solid Security experiences (CISSP, CISA, CISM, GPEN, GWAPT, GCIH, other GIAC certifications, OSCP, CEH, PCNSE)
- proficiency with Zscaler is a MUST (ZPA, ZIA) and understanding of Zscaler architecture, policies, application, group segmentation
- experience designing and implementing security controls in the cloud (Azure, GCP, Azure)
- experience with automating processes and/or security controls
- experience with DevOps, DevSecOps, and Agile methodologies
