Background: Disruptive FinTech backed by leading venture capital firms that offers a cutting edge payments & loyalty platform to its co-branded merchant customers seeks a Senior Analyst of Fraud Strategy & Analytics. Senior Analyst will provide both hands-on analytical and strategic support to combat consumer credit card Fraud.

Ideal candidate MUST be highly analytical, strategic, think outside of the box, come up with innovative consumer credit cards risk fraud mitigation strategies and solutions.

What Will You Do:

  • through data analysis, collaborate with the Director and proactively build the Fraud strategy roadmap that will assess and mitigate fraud on credit card: new applications, point of sale transactions, and account takeover
  • proactively analyze credit card fraud patterns, develop fraud prevention strategies, and implement strategies that are aligned to P&L fraud loss targets while managing the customer experience and merchant partner optics
  • track cards fraud strategy performance and present KPIs to Executives: fraud prevention / losses, disruptions caused, balancing approval rate, impact to P&L
  • continually assess emerging credit card fraud threats and proactively deploy controls to mitigate fraud risk
  • strong knowledge of industry leading fraud solutions as it applies to the cards business

Required Experience:

  • 2+ years of consumer credit risk Fraud experience is a MUST specifically within credit cards space
  • MUST have credit card fraud mitigation strategy experience including: ideation, development, implementation, and monitoring
  • Strong knowledge of industry leading Fraud solutions
  • Understanding of Authentication, Technology & Emerging Digital capabilities
  • MUST be hands-on with SQL to pull, mine, analyze consumer credit risk Fraud data
