Background: One of the nation’s largest Healthcare systems seeks to hire an Azure Infrastructure Cloud Architect to design, build, and deploy enterprise-wide solutions within the Azure Public Cloud. Azure Infrastructure Cloud Architect will work closely with data services, application, network, and security teams to ensure their requirements are reflected appropriately in the Azure design.
What Will the Azure Infrastructure Cloud Architect Do:
- own and deliver end to end cloud infrastructure architectures and designs including the deployment of critical infrastructure components i.e.: server, compute, storage, network, security, data services, and applications on Azure
- work closely with Data Science, Applications, Network, and Security teams to ensure requirements are reflected appropriately in the Azure design
- architect application and server migrations using automation tools
- deploy cloud environments and resources in Azure using infrastructure as a code (IAC) tool such as ARM templates and Terraform
- implement DevOps practices such as IAC and CI/CD
- document processes and procedures in managing and securing infrastructure making sure best practices are always followed

Required Experience:
- 3+ years of cloud architecture experience within Azure
- extensive experience with Microsoft Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services
- extensive experience with cloud networking, governance, security, data services, automation, application support, service cataloging (PaaS/IaaS/SaaS)
- experience with Azure DevOps and processes i.e.: IAC, CI/CD, ARM, Terraform, Ansible, and other automation tools/platforms
- experience in deploying and managing ADLS2, DataBricks, Synapse, ADF, AKS, SQL and other data platform in Azure
- strong skills with Python and PowerShell are desired
