Background: One of the nation’s largest Healthcare systems seeks to hire multiple BI professionals from Analysts to Senior Analysts within its Business Intelligence (BI) team. The Senior Analyst will build dashboards and visualizations that provide insights and trends as it pertains to payer healthcare claims.
What Will You Do:
- responsible for the development and automation of healthcare claims BI solutions from end to end i.e.: ideation meetings, to data mining, and delivering finished dashboards / visualizations
- collaborate with strategic partners across the organization including clinical and operations leaders and understand their reporting and data visualization needs
- pull, mine, analyze, audit all data and KPI calculations in dashboards to ensure accuracy and prototype dashboards until desired outcome is achieved
- provide dashboards and visualizations on payer healthcare claims (i.e.: claim rejections by payer, payer ranked by reimbursement, claim account receivables vs. payables, top physicians ranked by percent of claims paid)
- provide adhoc analytics and critical insights on bundle payment models, patient network utilization, and revenue cycles

Required Experience:
- 3+ years of end-to-end Business Intelligence (BI) development experience specifically within healthcare claims
- healthcare experience is a must including EMR/EHR coding systems: CPT, ICD-9/ICD-10 codes, HCPC standards
- good SQL skills to pull, mine, analyze, and audit data and KPI calculations
- proficiency with Tableau is a MUST
- client facing, someone who can provide guidance in the dashboard prototyping process
- understanding of Epic Clarity is a PLUS
