Background: Growing company within the Fortune 500 space seeks a Senior Analyst to join its Strategic Planning & Analytics team. Senior Analyst will strive for operational improvement and automation as it pertains to expediting the decision-making process for both Strategists and Analysts across its Organization.
What Will You Do:
- collaborate with both strategic partners and financial analysts to identify automation opportunities and take the lead on making them happen
- work with stakeholders and proactively implement data driven solutions that reduce manual efforts by streamlining processes to improve efficiencies and data quality
- support strategic finance and understand their analytical needs, analyze data, and create automated dashboards that visualize critical performance metrics
- automate, maintain, and streamline financial models to expedite decision making process
- work with leadership to understand and develop new ways to analyze financial results with emphasis on influencing profitability
- perform analytics on existing and new customer strategies and provide insights on drivers that can best enhance the P&L

Responsibilities/Experience:
- must have 3+years of extensive hands-on experiences leveraging financial data and optimizing processes through data automation
- strong data skills highly desired i.e. SQL, Python, VBA, proficiency with leading BI tools
- must be comfortable with financial models and financial KPI (i.e. NPV, DCF, forecasting)
- strong MS Excel skills are a MUST especially on the data mining side
