Background: A rapidly growing medical technology startup seeks a Strategic Lead Analyst to join its newly created Analytics group. The Strategic Lead Analyst will analyze data and provide strategic insights that will optimize and transform business strategies organizationally impacting Product, Marketing, Sales, and Operations.

 

What Will You Do:

  • provide strategic insights into product utilization, forecast product sales, build descriptive segmentations for targeted marketing, and perform analytics to optimize product cross-sell initiatives
  • analyze product data and define critical drivers that lead to increased utilization
  • perform strategic analysis that enable Sales teams to optimize conversion funnel
  • perform analysis to determine profitability of new and existing products, pricing strategies, new market opportunities
  • build dashboards that measure business performance and trends as it pertains to Product, Marketing, Sales, and Operations
  • use business insights to evolve commercial strategies and operational decisions
  • present analyses, insights, and recommendations to senior management and business groups

Responsibilities/Experience:

  • 3+ years of analytical experience leveraging data to provide insights and strategic recommendations
  • Solid Advanced MS Excel statistical analysis experience (i.e. correlation, scatter plot) + taking data and optimizing strategies is a MUST
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to present technical content to general audiences
  • working knowledge of Salesforce or other cloud-based CRM systems is a PLUS
  • ability to write SQL code is a PLUS
